Dynamite Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-established events business who are looking to onboard a brand new Design Engineer to their growing seating / seating structures team who are based near Hungerford, and enjoy the benefitsof international travel opportunities, work from home flexibility and a relaxed working environment

We are looking for junior through to experienced individuals with a Design engineering background / knowledge to apply

Design Engineer Package:

  • Between £28,000 to £42,000 depending on experience
  • The opportunity to work from home as much as 4 days a week
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

What are your key responsibilities in this Design Engineer role?

  • The new Design Engineer will be part of a medium team of CAD Engineers who will get involved at the point of tender.
  • Many global clients will be on boarded already and therefore the details of their requirements / likings will already be updated to the system however some new clients will need a friendly face to visit the site and take their large scale requirements.
  • Using CAD, Auto CAD and Solidworks softwares you will produce a variety 2D and 3D designs for seating structures and the seating itself plus other ADHOC requirements within a similar realm.
  • Liaise closely with production and manufacturing departments to finalise specifications

In order to be considered for this fantastic Design Engineer opportunity you will...

  • Will have applicable experience within a Design engineering role or knowledge of design systems or seating structures
  • As mentioned above, work from home flexibility is available and In such a case, you will be required to go into the office once a week.
  • Full drivers licence.
  • Experience within the seating sector is beneficial but not necessary.
