In line with our continued growth at Benefex, we are excited to announce a brand-new role that we are recruiting for within our Gateway Senior Leadership team.

In this high-visibility role, this person will be working with our Gateway team to secure, build and manage our customer relationships and champion all things Customer Success both internally and externally.


What you will be responsible for:

  • Defining and owning the customer success strategy, focused on driving technology and benefit upsells, improving customer experience, and minimising churn.
  • Lead, train, and grow the Gateway Consulting team, working with them to design and implement a bestinclass customer experience, delivery, and upsell programmes.
  • Manage Gateway customer success P&L, responsible for hitting revenue (renewal and upsell) targets and margin targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for Gateway customers, addressing issues at root cause with speed and urgency, collaborating with Gateway leadership team.
  • Establish and monitor goals, KPIs, and reporting, owning the teams' performance.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and product teams in searching out the approaches, processes, and tools to grow, sell, and win in SME and high growth markets.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Track record in building and leading high-performing teams across Customer Success and Account Management in within the HR / Benefits space.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to delegate, inspire and communicate effectively.
  • Commercial mindset, comfortable with a competitive landscape and focus on driving longterm customer value.
  • Ability to define metrics and utilise data to improve customer experience.
  • Ability to attract, retain and grow exceptional talent and able to grow the team in an efficient way and not only by headcount expansion.
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally with Sales, Product and Operational teams to help drive our strategy and inform business decisions.
  • Experience with UK SME businesses would be desirable.

While this role will be worked predominantly on a remote or hybrid basis, we are looking for someone who is able to attend the Southampton office on a monthly basis.
