Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior/Lead Cost Estimator with a background in Nuclear to be engaged on a contract basis in Warrington (remote working will also be supported)

Role Description

As we are working in an integrated team, the role will involve working with the delivery teams from both JV and Client to understand the job and produce estimates from the information provided by the teams.
Providing a uniformity to the compilation of the estimates together with assessment of risk and assumptions will form a large part of this role.
Once the estimate is finalised there will also be a need to liaise with colleagues to provide support to them for input into the systems.
The type of work will consist of mechanical, electrical and civil work.
The role would suit a person with a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience, who is fully conversant in all aspects of estimating and able to work across multiple tasks simultaneously.
This role would also suit anyone who has an understanding of the nuclear sector and a good working knowledge of excel.
More specifically an understanding of how work is delivered and the associated constraints of delivering work on a nuclear licensed site would be advantageous
