Head of Commercial Strategy*:

London, Zurich | working from home up to 60% | Reference 5268


This role's purpose is to build a pan-product business & commercial strategy, designed to accelerate growth in our core markets, break into adjacent markets and sectors, build a global presence and strengthen our position in the front, middle and back office.

As well as developing and packaging unique pricing models, this role will gather and funnel market intelligence into partnership execution as well as M&A, identifying partners and potential targets to help accelerate organic and inorganic growth.

You are able to engage with C- strategic partnerships and key customer relationships and as such operate with the highest level of integrity and discretion.


What You Will Do:

- lead a small team, nurturing talent, driving cultural change, diversity and upskilling and look to grow the team to help achieve commercial objectives
- accelerate existing activities around commercials and pricing, and develop pan-product commercial strategies, creating innovative approaches on how we launch and package new products, including content and delivery mechanisms
- own and manage our go to market framework across all product lines, increasing focus on commercially strong launches, with strong product and market fit
- build strategic partnerships to help elevate technical expertise and innovation and create unique content sets and propositions
- act as the market expert for Content & Product Management, staying close to market trends and evolution, bringing market intelligence to internal teams including product, technology and sales


What You Bring:

- a strong commercial strategist, with experience in pricing policy, pricing strategies and go to market for new products and services with at least 10 years' experience in financial services
- proven track record of using research and market engagement to drive product & commercial strategy

  • M&A experience from identification through to deal close
- ability to influence without authority, strong people leadership skills
- excellent stakeholder management skills, internally and externally with good customer facing skills
