Timeplan Education are currently supporting an alternative provision in Southwark.
They are recruiting a talented Art teacher to start after the February half term, until the end of the academic year.
This is a long-term vacancy paid via the agency.The provision supports children aged with an EHCP for SEMH and associated complex needs.
About the school:
- Alternative provision for students removed from mainstream school.
- Provides a creative, focused, and engaging environment.
- 20am to 4pm working hours, additional hours may be needed on occasion
- Friendly and supportive staff members who encourage personal development.
- Training available to enhance your skill set.
Person Specification:
- Must hold QTS or QTLS
- Experience within an alternative provision or mainstream school
- Confident planning creative and inclusive Art lessons, accessible to all abilities.
- You will also be confident carrying out assessments and reporting progress.
- Have a genuine interest and passion for special education.
- A positive and motivated person
- Patient and calm
- Have a valid DBS on the update service or be prepared to complete a new check.
