About the role
We are working in partnership with a school in the Swadlincote area.

They need a Teaching Assistant to work with children who have special needs on a 1:1 basis and also group work in class.

This is a permanent role and a full-time contract is available.

The great thing about this role is that the school does offer extra training and support. A full induction will be given. And lots of ongoing support will be provided.

The facilities at this school are amazing and the ethos is very child lead. It's all about giving the best care to the children as it should be. This means every lesson and activity is specifically tailored to the needs of each child.

Put simply most children who have special needs do not work well in a uniformed classroom environment and they need lots of personalised support to flourish and this is a school that understands that.

They have forest school, visits from donkeys, day trips, woodwork and lots of music and sensory activities to name a few.

But there are children with special needs that love a personalised classroom environment and every child must be catered to and given the best opportunity to succeed.

If you are looking for a place of work full of passion and where the chief aim is for the children's well-being then this is the role for you.
