Description

A global reinsurance provider based in London is seeking a Head of Distribution & Marketing to drive the marketing strategy for the regional primary specialty business units in the UK.

You will manage a small team to develop and implement the marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

Defining the marketing strategy, plans and activities to meet business unit(s) growth strategies.
Create marketing campaigns to convey core messages.
Work closely with the wider UK Marketing Communication team to deliver endtoend marketing.
Share insights with broader Global Communications team.
Influence the development of marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, advertisements, films, sell sheets, presentations and digital content targeted to clients and prospects.
Manage marketing activities within event strategies to fulfil business needs in terms of generating prospects, spending quality time with clients, and providing strong visibility.
Ensure that all marketing programs, promotions and activities are tracked and measured to determine their ROI and success.
Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, developments and best practices and perform marketing segmentation, targeting, and positioning across insurance industry.

Requirements:

Proven expertise in B2B marketing ideally in insurance / financial services roles in the UK
Performing at a senior / head of level currently
Superior analytical skills and the ability to use data to optimise results and convert analytical insights
A relevant background in underwriting and products will be an advantage.
Stamina, a commitment to high quality work that can be delivered under pressure and strong attention to detail
Confidence to navigate ambiguity and collaborate across all hierarchical levels in a global matrix environment and work under evolving deadlines.
