Claims Handlers

Based in Tonbridge

£20,283 to £32,000
Our client who are a leading Insurance Management provider specialising within Insurance Claims are looking to recruit Claims Handlers within the following areas:

  • Escape of Water
  • Credit Hire
  • Large Loss Motor
  • Large Loss Home
  • Home Emergency
  • Accidental Damage
  • FNOL
  • Recoveries
  • FOS Complaint Handlers
  • Fire & Theft
Some of the vacancies offer hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.


Job role:


  • Managing your own portfolio of claims
  • Advising policy holders on general queries and insurance claims
  • Requesting and gathering documents and information from customers
  • Performing fraud checks and escalating any fraud alerts or suspicious circumstances to the counter fraud team
  • Negotiating settlement of claims both verbally and written

Skills needed:


  • Experience within a claim's role is essential or proven customer service experience for FNOL roles
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Cert CII or the desire to study towards
  • PC literate
