We have a fantastic primary school located in the Slough area who are looking to hire a Primary School Teaching Assistant.

This Primary School Teaching Assistant position is a full time role available immediately.

In your role as a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will be working with SEN children of primary school age.

As a Primary School Teaching Assistant will need to provide support to students with Additional Needs and those with Education Health Care Plans(EHCPs)

This Primary School Teaching Assistant position is the ideal role for someone looking to build a long term career in the education sector working with SEN students.

This Primary School Teaching Assistant role would also be suitable for graduates seekinga full time Teaching Assistant role supporting children with a range of SEN.

The Role:

Primary School Teaching Assistant supporting children with a range of SEN across different year groups within a primary school
To provide support to students with Additional Needs and those with Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
To work with individual students, small groups and support in whole classes within an agreed system of supervision under the direction of the SENDCO and SEND Hub Manager

Requirements:

Must have previous experience with children where a reference can be obtained
Previous experience with SEN either in a previous role or some capacity would be ideal for this role as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
Have a good understanding of the key skills and traits required to be a great Teaching Assistant for children with SEN
Be able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm
Either live in Slough or within a commutable distance
