We are currently recruiting for a proactive Exports Logistics Executive to join a well-established freight forwarding and logistics company based in Tilbury, Essex.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in the heart of the shipping industry in the South East.

Responsibilities:

Handle importations and exportations of various cargoes through multimodal means, including air, sea, road, and rail.
Utilize expertise in customs clearance and ensure compliance with country requirements.
Complete export documentation, including raising Certificates of Origin when necessary.
Prepare and submit customs declarations accurately and efficiently.
Proficiency in using CNS and Destin8 systems, with experience using Multifreight forwarding software.
Maintain strong attention to detail in all tasks.
Communicate effectively with customers, hauliers, carriers, and overseas agents.
Arrange bookings with shipping lines and carriers.
Coordinate collections to meet vessel and flight deadlines.
Ensure screening and check weighing are completed by coordinating with warehouses.
Prepare export documentation, manifests, and invoices.
Verify vessel and flight schedules are met.
Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and identify any additional needs.

Requirements:

Minimum of two years' experience in export operations, preferably in both airfreight and seafreight.
Proficient in completing export documentation and customs declarations.
Familiarity with CNS and Destin8 systems; experience with Multifreight software is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
Excellent command of English and strong mathematical skills.
