The Role:

Operations Support Assistant to join our team and support our companies day-to-day operations - service / sales / admin / social media...
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be working from our Head Office in Romsey alongside some of the leading experts in the compressed air world
Compressed air is a very niche industry but don't worry, we will teach you all you need to know about our compressed air world
About You:
For this role you will need to:
- Be resilient and confident with a positive 'can do' attitude.
- Have strong problemsolving abilities, attention to detail and reliability.
- Be straighttalking, we don't walk on eggshells round here
- Have a high degree of flexibility.
- Be highly creative, always looking for ways to improve working processes.
- Have good interpersonal skills with the ability to work & contribute within a team environment.
- Have a basic understanding of computer programs, ie Word, CRM systems, SAGE.
- Have excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Live within 30 minutes of our head office in Romsey, Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Operations Manager, working together to achieve optimal operational efficiency.
- To assist in the operational and administrative tasks ensuring they are carried out in a timely and reactive fashion
- For example: Closure of open jobs, preparing RAMS, converting new customers to adhoc contracts, registering equipment on the supplier portal.
- To prepare and send quotations to customers as required for supply, service or repair of their equipment.
- Help manage the stores stock along with booking and allocating stock for the service engineers.
- To assist and provide technical support for customers, suppliers, and service engineers.
- Answer enquires from customers/suppliers and raising related documentation as required.
- To assist with the planning of reactive and planned maintenance tasks for the service engineers.
- Gain indepth knowledge of our products, customers, and demand across both brands.
- Gain detailed understanding of the various stock, demand and other IT systems used in the business.
