Applications are welcome for this exciting new post to expand and develop the Oral Health Improvement Team, within BCHC Dental Service and across the geographical boundaries of the Integrated Care Systems of Birmingham, Solihull and the Black Country.

Applicants should have a registered dental professional qualification and be registered with the General Dental Council

To persuade and influence external stakeholders and partners to improve oral health and reduce inequalities through delivery of oral health preventive programmes and incorporating oral health as part of routine business


To operate in a complex organisational environment to direct system leadership to engage partners and stakeholders across divisions in health, education, social care and voluntary organisations.


To engage with stakeholders to build capacity to embed oral health improvement into daily practice to reduce oral health inequalities.


To be responsible for leading the service, ensuring the delivery of Key Performance Indicators, to contribute to population oral health improvement and reduction in inequalities.

To deliver an evidence based Oral Health Improvement Service within BCHCFT, working in partnership with local stakeholders to agree an oral health improvement plan across the ICS's


To be responsible for the high quality, day to day management, coordination and delivery of the Oral Health Improvement Service.
