The East of Eden Mission Community is delighted to announce that we are seeking to appoint a Pioneer Minister/Pastor to join our ecumenical Ministry Team.

This is a full-time lay role (but ordained people are very welcome to apply).

The pioneer will seek to establish and develop new worshipping communities and fresh expressions of the church across the Mission Community.

He/she will develop our volunteer teams already reaching out in our quest for 'God for All'.

We are looking for a pioneer who loves Jesus, has a life of personal prayerfulness and a good grounding in the scriptures.

In addition they should enjoy meeting people, be able to work with all ages, think creatively and encourage others within a team.

The post will also involve encouraging the spiritual life of the existing communities both inside and outside the church.


Salary:
£28,825, plus pension provision

Housing is not provided but may be available to rent.

We are recruiting using the Methodist Church process but this it is an ecumenical appointment.
