Consilium Recruit are supporting Bystronic with the recruitment of several Field Service Technicians. Working on a mobile basis at customer sites you will support planned and reactive maintenance for the Bystronic equipment range and work with the installation
teams to ensure effective machine delivery.

The Role
***The Field Service Technician will assist, working in the field with: - Installing, handing over and commissioning Bystronic machines at customer sites: ready for start
- up according to the Bystronic requirements. You will support assembling electric, pneumatic and hydraulic installations.

Maintaining Bystronic machines at customer sites and repairing electrics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Performing CNC/PLC software updates / downgrades and testing and resolving basic troubleshooting cases, including the diagnosis

- and analyses of the case.

Completing and communicating required reports such as: Service reports and support request forms, customer feedback and installation documentation in the CRM.

The Person
The Field Service Technician will hold the ability to do CNC / PLC updates and downgrades.

A basic understanding and knowledge of CNC/ PLC and drive systems and good understanding and knowledge of troubleshooting on IT/Software:

DMS, CRM, LMS & Microsoft Windows, drive systems (axis systems, handling systems), CNC and PLC bus-systems - are all highly valued for the role.

Additionally, you will be conversant with safety regulations and able to work in high voltage and high-pressure areas, alongside a core understanding of Mechanical Engineering.
