This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team.

As Pastoral Support Officer you will play a key role in onboarding and welcoming our internationally recruited staff to the trust.

The role is pivotal to ensure internationally recruited staff members are fully supported throughout their recruitment journey, from the point of introduction, to onboarding and beyond, providing pastoral support and advice for international recruits.


As well as fulfilling a crucial pastoral support role, you will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient administration management systems are established and maintained.


You must have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage competing demands and deadlines, great organisational skills and a desire to provide brilliant customer service.

You must be flexible, able to work early mornings and evenings when required. You must be adept at problem solving and able to deal with challenges positively and calmly.


You will work closely with Recruitment colleagues to support all aspects of the onboarding process, and ensure that the pastoral care our internationally recruited staff need is in place.

You will co-ordinate and manage the arrival, welcome, and accommodation arrangements. You will be on hand to offer practical support, advice and guidance.


Working in partnership both internally with recruitment, medical education, nursing, allied health professionals (AHP), practice development, finance, procurement and workforce transformation teams and externally with partners across ICS and Place.

Building relationships with external stakeholders e.g. banks, GP practices, local estate agents, schools, community groups etc.

We are a national centre for telemedicine and introduced telehealth to the UK offender healthcare sector and also provide the service to patients in their care homes.

Community matters to us and we are supported by 400 dedicated volunteers and have strong links with Bradford University, Craven College and Leeds City College to ensure we inspire the workforce of the future.
