My client is a very well known and respected electronic appliance retailer based in Leicester. They deliver nationwide all around the UK and have done so for over 30 years.

You will be required to deliver appliances of all types, whether it be an american fridge freezer or a kettle.

You will be sent out as part of a 2 man team, splitting the driving hours and helping each other with the heavy lifting.

You will of course be given the tools required to make the job as simple as possible.

All vehicles are modern Mercedes Benz and they have ownership of a fantastic fleet of new and well kept vehicles.

Valid driver's license with no more than 6 points. No IN's or DR's
Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver preferred
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus
Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to their designated locations.

You will need to have excellent driving skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and the physical capability to handle heavy lifting.

This is a temporary role and due to the time of year, will involve adhoc days, this will however lead to more regular work and potentially even a full time contract.

Rate of Pay is £11.50 per hour. Start times are early, circa 4-6AM.
