**The Insights Consultant reports directly to the Regional Head of Client Relations, EMEA. This person maintains day-to-day customer relationships and acts as the client's voice within the company and the voice of the company to the client. As such, the Insights Consultant plays a critical role in client communication, problem-solving, editorial quality control, and, ultimately, renewal and upselling.

The Insights Consultant should work hand-in-hand with the Rapid Intelligence and Media Intelligence organizations to ensure deliverables meet the needs and expectations of the customer. They are the glue between the customer and our delivery organization and must develop a strong relationship with their peers to ensure a seamless experience for the customer.

Finally, this person will serve as the foremost authority on the customer's insights program, documenting evolving needs, risks, and opportunities for the purpose of providing senior-level stakeholders across Insights Consulting and Commercial with the information required to support retention and spot upsell opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities:

Account Management: Responsible for developing deep partnerships with our clients to help them achieve their goals and establish Cision Insights as an extension of their team and a partner in their work.

  • Must be able to quickly resolve issues and convey those issues to and from delivery and management teams, whether pertaining to a contractual question or an editorial production issue.
  • Coordinate with Cision counterparts on aspects of the business outside of Cision Insights' purview to ensure the client has seamless interactions with every point of the company.
- **Contract Management and commercial support**:
  • Responsible for facilitating the annual renewal of the service, i.e., keeping track of the scope, amount of labor over time, and pricing. This includes contributing to SOWs and proposals, as well as ensuring contract documentation is complete, accurate, and clearly articulated to both the client and internal production and commercial teams.
  • Support the expansion and revenue growth of the overall Insights Consulting division via the retention / upsell of current client services or supporting the onboarding of new clients and opportunities.
  • Proactively notify peers in Account Management about both risks and upsell opportunities within your portfolio of clients.
- **Analyst/Editor**: All Insights Consultants are trained in aspects of our delivery processes. They must be able and willing to search, write, and edit deliverables for multiple clients to complete ad-hoc tasks or fix issues.


Essential Skills and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in PR, Comms, journalism, English, or Marketing would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated intelligence, as well as attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Executivelevel presentation skills.
- "People skills": ability to resolve issues with customers and/or experience with sales. Advanced and demonstrated ability to build relationships, persuade and influence stakeholders, clients, and vendors.

  • Proven analytical skills with systematic problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work in an intense, deadlinedriven environment and balance multiple priorities.
