Full-time or Part-time Wedding & Events Co-ordinator
Here at The Mill House Hotel, we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic wedding co-ordinator to join our team.

If you are looking for a role where you can be fully hands on with weddings and events from the moment of enquiry right through to the day of the wedding, then this is the opportunity for you.

The Mill House Hotel is a privately owned hotel and exclusive use wedding venue, located south of Reading, set in landscaped gardens and surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Weddings are our passion, and we are looking for someone with the same desire to deliver a dream day to our wedding couples.

The role can be very hands on, so an eye for detail and a willingness to get stuck in, are essential for the busy 2023/24 season we have ahead.

30-40 hours a week to include every other weekend and one evening per week

Overview of the role;

Conduct show rounds of the venue with new clients
Ensure all potential new booking opportunities are followed up
Hold detailed wedding meetings face to face with wedding clients
Produce accurate invoices for weddings & events and ensure payment deadlines are met
Produce function sheets for all events and communicate special requirements with the operations and kitchen team
Keep up to date with wedding trends and the local market
Liaise with suppliers in the run up and on the day of an event
Involvement with hotel duties such as bedroom reservations and restaurant bookings

Skill Requirements;

Experience as a wedding coordinator for a minimum 12 months is essential to be able to hit the ground running.
An excellent level of organisation and attention to detail are essential
Experienced and confident using Office36
A flexible approach to the needs of the business, no two days are the same
