What we're looking for

A Lead Alternative Fuel Refit Specialist who supports our UK Team with extensive knowledge of alternative fuel/power and refit projects.

As an international organization, you will have good oral and written knowledge of English.

The role

Responsible for providing support and guidance to clients, national administrations (flags)
Providing support for colleagues on the impact of retrofitting alternative or additional fuel/power systems on existing ships (Class/Statutory).
Develop related guidance material and have significant input into the development of associated Technical Reference Material for Surveyors.

What you bring

Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent of
Significant survey experience in new constructions, existing ships, dockyard refits and maintenance, and equipment and component.
Capability of making technical decisions
Indepth knowledge of Classification and Statutory Conventions
Experience in LNG, gaseous, and/or low flash point fuels as well as decarbonization
