Reinsurance Technician

City of London - Lloyd's Business
Salary £50,000 - £55,000

They are looking for someone with 3 years minimum experience in this field and for an individual that has worked with reinsurance covering inwards and outwards.

The role would be working in a team of 4.

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively implement procedures for accurately calculating the reinsurance asset and issuance of reinsurance recoveries
Preparation of reinsurance billings and loss advices as required
Calculation of reinsurance recoveries as required
Assess the viability of releasing individual reinsurance recoveries
Assist with credit control to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances
Ensure effective and timely reporting as required
Record and Answer technical queries raised by reinsurers and/or brokers
