About the Position:
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to help our team coordinate payroll in our UK and Netherlands offices. This position will focus on these locations to start, but may expand into other global jurisdictions over time.
In this role, you will coordinate with vendors to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance, and work closely with HR and other internal teams to ensure all tax reporting, benefits-records administration, and payroll issues are handled accurately and responsibly.
This is also in part a customer service role, as you will be the person to answer any payroll questions your future colleagues may have.
Additional responsibilities of this role will include:
- Preparing updates to payroll records, monitoring changes in compensation, and completing month-end, quarterly, and annual processes
- Assisting with monthly payroll reports, reconciliations, and review of yearend forms (e.g., P60, PSA, STBV)
- Providing support to the larger payroll team during audits
- Maintaining payroll and internal control procedures
- Keeping up with best practices and current payroll laws and regulations
- Recommending ways to improve and automate payroll processes

About You:
- 2+ years of UK and international payroll experience, or other relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Eager to learn; intellectually curious
- Handles sensitive information with good judgment and discretion
- Can work proactively and handle competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with Workday HR and Payroll is a plus
- Experience working with expat payroll is a plus
- Fluency in English required
