OWM are the global authority on potable and drinking water issues in remote environments. We operate globally 365 days a year, 24hrs a day.
OWM provide technical and engineering support to offshore and marine assets for all aspects of Potable Water Management and Treatment.
The aim of this position is to provide offshore site audits of Potable Water Systems, onshore desktop technical reviews and contribute to the smooth running of the technical support team.
The role will include leading our regular classroom and offsite training eventsThis role reports to the Technical Manager.
The Person Specification
Skills & abilities
- You will have a complete focus on Health and Safety
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, especially report writing
- The ability to work on own initiative and within a team
- Clean driving license
Qualifications & Experience
- University education level science related
- Previous employment with water/environmental industry
- Risk assessment/ auditing experience preferred
- Risk assessment certification preferred (eg. City & Guild or equivalent)
- BOSIET etc preferred or if lapsed will be provided
Character & Personal Qualities
- We are looking for a well humoured resilient team player who is willing to get involved in various tasks for the furtherance of OWM's aims, and his/her own development.
- You'll need the ability to be facetoface with clients and service users, offshore and in the office
- You'll be running training courses on Potable Water Management to clients; presentation skills will be required, or the willingness to gain them
