What you will be doing

  • Prepare and deliver engaging live broadcasts for a variety of sporting events, including Premier League football matches, major sporting events, greyhound races, and horse racing events.
  • Utilize your strong journalistic skills to script compelling sports and betting content tailored for TV, radio, online, and social media platforms.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in video editing tools and techniques, or quickly learn and adapt to them, to enhance the quality and visual appeal of content.
  • Generate innovative ideas for event coverage and content that align with business objectives and resonate with the target audience, driving customer engagement.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of sports trends, team dynamics, player statistics, and betting insights to provide insightful and accurate commentary during broadcasts.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of producers, directors, analysts, and other stakeholders to coordinate seamless and highquality broadcasts.
  • Stay adaptable in a dynamic daily broadcasting environment, responding effectively to changing schedules, breaking news, and unexpected developments.
  • Monitor audience feedback and engagement metrics to continuously refine content strategies and improve the overall viewer experience.

we are looking for

  • Strong passion for sports and broadcasting, demonstrated across various sports.
  • Flexibility to work a 37.5hour week, including early mornings, late shifts, and weekends.
  • Proficiency in English language, basic IT programs, and social media platforms.
  • Advantageous to have knowledge of horse racing, betting, and a clean driving license.
