About Us:

Classroom Recruiters are pleased to represent a distinguished SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) school located in the Leicester area.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the position of Deputy Head of School.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced teacher looking to take their first step into a senior position or a seasoned leader with a passion for providing high-level leadership in a SEND setting.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide strong leadership in the SEND school environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective strategies to support positive behavioral and emotional outcomes for students.
  • Collaborate with the school leadership team to create a positive working environment for both staff and students.
  • Act as a mentor and guide for teaching and support staff.
  • Bring real energy and outsidethebox thinking to the team, all focused on achieving the best outcomes for the children.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the school's vision, mission, and goals.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Qualified teacher status with significant teaching experience.
  • Experience in a SEND or mainstream school setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
