Countryside contracting assistant

Trainee position.

Full time employment with a six-month probationary period.

Salary depending on experience.

Quantock and Exmoor Ltd have been providing a range of countryside services for over 16 years to many clients across the Somerset including Somerset Council, Natural Trust, Quantock Hills AONB, Exmoor Natural Park and FWAG.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Somerset team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team who is keen to work with their hands and learn new skills.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get into the conservation/countryside sector and learn on the job.

You will be required to physically work outside in all weather on a wide range of jobs from public footpath maintenance, fencing, tree work and small scale construction work, for example, on footpaths, bridges and drainage work.

Full training will be provided.

Own transport is required to get to and from the yard.

Pay:
£15,651.00-£26,905.01 per year
