Digital Inclusion Officer

Overview:
We are seeking a Digital Inclusion Officer to join our team.

As a Digital Inclusion Officer, you will play a crucial role in promoting digital literacy and ensuring that everyone has access to digital technologies.

You will work closely with communities and individuals to bridge the digital divide and provide training and support to enhance their digital skills.

Duties:

Educate individuals and communities on the importance of digital inclusion
Develop and deliver training programs to improve digital literacy
Provide oneonone support and guidance to individuals in using digital technologies
Collaborate with community organizations to identify barriers to digital inclusion and develop strategies to overcome them
Assist in the procurement and distribution of digital devices and internet access for those in need
Conduct research on emerging technologies and trends in digital inclusion
Evaluate the effectiveness of digital inclusion initiatives and make recommendations for improvement
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to educate and train individuals with varying levels of digital literacy
Empathy and patience in working with individuals facing barriers to digital inclusion
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with diverse stakeholders

This is a paid position. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Job Types:
Part-time, Temp to perm

Pay:
£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
