Senior Bookkeeper

Up to £38K DOE

Puro Accountancy are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established accountancy practice based in North London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bookkeeper to join a growing accountancy team that can support you with your career.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing accounts up to trial balance for a portfolio of clients using systems such as Xero & Dext
Liaising with the outsourcing team and reviewing work
Performing bank reconciliations and processing payments
Processing invoices & sales and purchase ledgers using cloud accounting softwares
Producing and submitting VAT returns
Assisting clients with any queries
Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
General admin duties

Requirements:

At least 4 years' experience working in a UK accountancy practice environment
Must have previous bookkeeping experience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
Have experience with a variety of software's
Must have experience with Xero and be confident with this software
A strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines

Pay:
Up to £38,000.00 per year
