Part-time contract, 2 positions:


Position 1: 3 days per week, incl. 1 weekend day

Position 2: 4 days per week, incl. 1 weekend day

Mid-July (depending on availability) - 10th September 2023
We are recruiting two part-time Visitor Services Assistant to join our busy team during the summer 2023.

Working under the supervision of the Visitor Services Manager, Visitor Services Assistants provide a friendly welcome to visitors to the Museum of Natural History (c. 800,000 visitors per year), and assist with enquiries. They will also encourage donations to the Museum and conversions to Gift Aid.

The Visitor Services Assistants play an important role in ensuring visitor safety and in the security of the building and the Museum collection, and give introductions to visiting groups.

This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a professional attitude and a flexible approach to work.

Ideally the post holder will have experience of working in a museum or heritage visitor attraction, and experience working in a similar customer-focussed environment.
