Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistantto join our SEND Team.

Based at a reputable secondary school in Worthing. Accessible by train and bus. Easy to walk to, if you live in Worthing.

The successful person will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs in their learning and development.

Responsibilities include:
Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs
Assisting with the planning and delivery of individualized education programs
Collaborating with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Supporting students with physical, emotional, and behavioural needs
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and development

Qualifications:
GCSE passes in Maths and English
Experience working with students with special educational needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient and understanding approach to working with students

This is a 5 day per week job Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3pm.

Starting on a long term supply or temporary basis via Reed Education, offering £80 per day - there is a possible permanent opportunity for the right person.
