Description
Hereford Contract Canning, currently employs over 140 staff in Hereford.

HCC is a rapidly growing contract canner of leading drinks brands which has recently undergone significant investment over the last two years.

The future plans include continued investment, increase in staff, continued acquisition of new customers and growth of existing business.

We are seeking to employ a stock clerk who will report to the Warehouse Manager.

This is initially on a 2 shift pattern ( 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00), but could move to a 3 Shift Pattern (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00) on a three week rotation, or a continental shift pattern in the future.

The role will require contact with both suppliers and customers.


Main areas of responsibility:


  • Support existing processes within the current Supply Chain systems
  • Assist in the preparation and checking of paperwork for all items (in/out)
  • Monitor stock returns and pallet make ups on site
  • Timely booking in all work orders and stock updates
  • Ensure all stock counts are reconciled in a timely manner
  • Coordinate all waste removal from site
  • Control and allocation of all booking slots for goods in/out
  • Contact customers to ensure timely collection of goods
  • Maintain the Stocktake programme
  • Correct storage and accuracy of product
  • Have the aptitude to utilise a WMS along with Barcode Scanning
  • Maintain H&S requirements across the business

Required Skills:


  • Previous experience of a logistics and manufacturing environment preferable
  • Good level of numeracy and attention to detail
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office 365 suite (word, excel, outlook, teams)

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
