We are seeking a Receptionist who is passionate about delivering fantastic client service at our Cardiff based practice. This is a full time role and we are happy to discuss flexible options to support both your needs and the business.
Salary is in line with national minimum wage.

The role:_

As a receptionist you will provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to our clients and their animals. You will need to be able to work well within a team, sometimes under high pressure.

Main duties would include:

Answering the telephone, booking appointments and processing prescription requests
Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments and dealing with enquiries
Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system
Cleaning duties as required

Full times hours would normally be 40 hours per week, one in five weekends (Saturday until 2pm) with time off the following week.

Earliest start 8:30am and latest finish 7.00pm with the option of four x 10 hour shifts.

Excellent organisational and communication skills
Good IT skills
Previous receptionist experience would be preferable but not essential
The team:_

The Cardiff Hub consists of three practices in the central Cardiff suburbs of Rumney, Roath and Canton.

All staff get to work at each site to engage with different clients and to work with different vets and nurses.

We are a busy practice and we are always investing in new equipment - we have recently started offering laparoscopic spay and are planning to install a dental radiography suite in the coming months.

Our aim is to have a happy team, doing what they love and getting paid for it.

We have had a new leadership team join in the last year who are keen to develop the business with input from the team.

The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
