Job Title:
School Caretaker

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the school buildings, grounds, and equipment
Conducting regular inspections of the school premises to identify and report any issues or hazards
Performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed
Ensuring that the school is secure and safe, including locking and unlocking the school buildings
Coordinating with external contractors and vendors as necessary
Assist with the setup and breakdown of facilities for school events

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a caretaker or in a related role
Strong knowledge of building maintenance and repair
Ability to use basic power and hand tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a school or educational setting is a plus
