The Role
- Are you an HR Assistant looking for a bit more flexibility and variety?
- Would you like to work with a business where there are lots of opportunities to learn new skills?

Your main activities will include:
- Producing accurate HR documents using existing templates e.g. contracts of employment, employee handbooks, policies and procedures.
- Making sure the client database and employee files are uptodate and answering client/employee queries.
- Keeping clients and other team members updated on documents, queries, processes (no cold calling required).
- Ensuring right to work checks are completed for all employees of our clients and raising any issues with other team members/the client as appropriate.
- Escalating issues quickly, where you don't know the answer or require assistance to resolve them.
- Creating client and internal documents using MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Using HR systems/platforms e.g. Applicant Tracking Systems, HR Information Systems, web platforms, to support effective processes
- Developing strong relationships with the internal and extended team (including freelancers/suppliers) to provide appropriate support, answer queries and get things done.
About You
You're already an HR Assistant who's looking for more flexibility and the opportunity to develop your skills further.
As part of a small but growing HR Consultancy, you'll love variety and be comfortable reacting quickly to changing priorities
In particular, you'll:
- Have great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be able to work well with both clients and other members of the team.
- Possess strong attention to detail.
- Be able to develop brilliant processes (the best HR assistants not only follow processes well but can also see where changes are needed to make things run more smoothly).
- Be confident speaking directly to clients and answering straightforward queries.
- Have MS Office skills (especially MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and basic knowledge of Applicant Tracking and HR Information systems.

- Salary of between £20,000 and £25,000 per year (pro rata for part time) based on experience.
- 22 days annually plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time). Details will be confirmed when we agree your normal working pattern.
