Job Title:
Order Management Administration Assistant (UK based - Midlands)


The Role

Reports to:
Order Management Manager


Goals and Objectives:


  • Improve the updating of daily information and associated changes on both Sage & AS400 in relation to changed delivery dates.
  • Improve the functionality with the existing team by being converse with both brands.
  • Grow customer & supplier relations throughout a contract.
  • Help increase the speed of the order entry process.
  • Help deliver the best possible customer care for all aspects of an order.

Responsibilities:


  • Take ownership of your own roles and responsibilities with decisive decision making.
  • Liaise with the factories, technical, contracts and Pre-Sales teams when required.
  • Offer assistance to any team member that requires support.
  • Provide ongoing customer support throughout the ordering and delivery procedures.
  • Collaborate and issue problematic issues to the management team.
  • Most importantly be dynamic and think outside of the box and have the ability to develop a solution to help deliver and overcome project challenges.
  • Undertake issuing of delivery and precommissioning instructions to the relevant factories / departments.
  • Thoroughly go through all salesmen's handover documents prior to commencing the order entry process
  • Learn the IT ordering systems used for the brands
  • AS400 & Sage for order entering and invoicing.
  • Issuing of order acknowledgments, finished commissioning sheets and customer satisfaction surveys.

Qualifications/ Experience/Knowledge:


  • Experience of managing your own time and customers, setting daily targets and monitoring progress.
  • Good computer skills (excel / word documents)
  • Experience of working within a fast moving and dynamic environment
  • UK Driving Licence

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£17,000.00-£23,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
