Principal Designer / CDM Advisor - Leicester


We now seek an experienced Principal Designer / CDM Advisor to join the team at this independent Engineering and Surveying Consultancy in Leicester.


The Role

  • Providing advice, assisting clients fulfil their CDM duties and responsibilities
  • Preparing and submitting F10s
  • Design risk management and liaison with Design Teams to identify key hazards
  • Identification and collation of preconstruction information
  • Preparation of Health & Safety files, alongside construction phase Health & Safety plans and site inspections
  • Preparation of method statements and risk assessments
  • Assisting with asbestos surveys

You

  • Ideally you will be degree qualified with relevant experience within the construction industry
  • Design risk management skills and PD / CDM professional qualifications are essential
  • NEBOSH General Certificate and/or Construction Certificate are desirable
  • Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential

Package
- £35,000pa to £45,000pa depending on experience

  • 25 Days Holiday, increasing annually
  • Professional membership fees paid
