Role Overview:

As the Head of CDD, you will play a pivotal role in steering our organization towards the highest standards of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance.

Your strategic leadership will guide the CDD function to align with the firm's priorities, ensuring that our operations meet regulatory obligations and contribute to our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

AML Procedures and Processes: Oversee and enhance AML procedures, ensuring alignment with Financial Crime Compliance policies for efficient risk management

Project Management: Take overall responsibility for AML-related projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery

Client Management: Lead discussions, challenges, remediation, and offboarding of clients, including those classified as High Risk

Committee Leadership: Chair the High-Risk Committee, providing strategic insights and escalating key matters to the Executive Committee when necessary

MI Reporting: Generate and contribute to Management Information (MI) for Compliance, Risk, Financial Crime Working Groups, and High-Risk Committee, offering assurance and oversight

Quality Assurance: Undertake quality assurance of Management activities and promptly address any non-compliance with CDD requirements

Training and Development: Ensure adequate resources and training are in place for maintaining high AML standards. Support AML training for the wider business as needed

Continuous Professional Development (CPD): Proactively develop industry knowledge and skills through relevant CPD activities
