Payroll Assistant


Puro Accountancy have partnered with an accountancy practice in Hertfordshire who are looking to add a payroll assistant to their team.

This position has arisen due to the payroll team expanding and after a very successful year they need some extra support.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for a portfolio of 30 clients a month
  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll
  • Issuing payslips
  • Processing auto enrolment pensions
  • Issuing holiday & sick pay
  • Liaising with clients to collate information and finalising it and submitting to HMRC

You Will Need

  • Must have previous payroll experience
  • Must be able to identify potential issues, i.e. NMW issues, holiday/pay, sick pay etc
  • Be a good team player
  • CIPP qualification is desirable but not essential
