Hours:
full time Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Hybrid working with 2-3 days based in our Mercedes Benz Blackburn Dealership
Salary:
Competitive Basic Salary

The role
We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join Marshall Motor Group working out of our Mercedes Benz dealership in Blackburn.
Offered on a full-time, fixed term contract to cover Maternity Leave with the potential of full time, this role reports to our Compliance Manager.
What you'll do
- Assisting the Compliance Manager to ensure business is compliant with regulations.
- Promoting a positive compliance culture
- Provide the business with compliance advice and recommendations.
- Responsible for the organisation of compliance records, ensuring all compliance logs are kept up to date.
- Assist with the delivery of the Training & Competence Framework and Compliant Management Framework
- Compliance Monitoring activities in accordance with the annual plan
- Assisting business to maintain compliance and adherence to policies and procedures, highlighting risks and areas of improvement to Compliance Manager
- Assisting other members of the Compliance Department
- Other duties commensurate with the position
Who you are
Knowledge
- Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements (particularly CONC, PRIN, COCON, SYSC, TC and DISP) pertaining to the sale of consumer finance and/or general insurance
- Knowledge of TCF and the Consumer Duty is desirable.
- A working understanding of the regulatory framework
Required skillset for this role.
- IT literate with the ability to organise and analyse high volumes of data.
- Very organised with good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis, conduct trend analysis and offer solutions to identified problems.
- Selfmotivated, ability to handle and prioritise own workload.
- Ability to promote a positive compliance culture.
