    About the Role:

    We are looking for a commercially-minded HR Business Partner to provide a People service aligned to business requirements and fully supporting the iQ values. The HR Business Partner is responsible for providing expert generalist advice in employment relations, engagement, recruitment, performance management, reward, and policy development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build excellent working relationships at all levels within the organization, establishing credibility of the People team as a source of expertise.
    • Provide end-to-end support, advice, and guidance for site teams and managers on employee relations cases, adopting pragmatic and culturally appropriate approaches aligned with iQ values and employment law.
    • Collaborate with site leadership and management teams to identify and develop talent, facilitating development opportunities and encouraging ownership of careers.
    • Promote employee satisfaction by responding to questions, concerns, and issues, researching and resolving problems.
    • Work with managers to attract and develop team members who embody iQ values.
    • Provide comprehensive People advice supported by subject matter experts across all aspects of people management.
    • Ensure policies and practices align with iQ values, are compliant with employment law, and include training and briefings for team members and managers.
    • Support the annual performance management process, including rollout, communication, and guidance to managers.
    • Report on and analyze people metrics, identify trends and risks, and advise on appropriate actions.
    • Ensure team changes are executed in line with iQ values, creating positive employee experiences and compliance.
    • Assist with TUPE transfers, ensuring effective cultural integration of new team members.
    • Prepare documents, letters, and communications related to People policies and processes.
    • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure recruitment attracts suitable candidates and aligns with staffing budgets.

    Who we are looking for:

    • Wide experience in a HR / People generalist role covering all aspects of people management.
    • Experience managing complex employee relations cases, with solutions aligned to business and employee needs, mitigating risks, and complying with employment law and iQ values.
    • CIPD qualification is desirable.
    • Excellent organizational skills and self-motivation to manage small-scale People projects.
    • Strong knowledge of UK employment law principles and practical application.
    • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide at all levels.
    • Ability to make quick, sound decisions based on judgment and commercial awareness.
    • Ability to identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes.
    • Goal-oriented with good prioritization and judgment under pressure.
    • Experience with iTrent HRIS is advantageous; knowledge of any HRIS is required.
