Description

Creative Marketing Assistant

Main responsibilities

Assist with the planning, design, research, and creation of online marketing content including but not limited to copywriting, imagery, seasonal inspiration campaigns and factual information pieces

Assist with the organisation, selection, and monitoring of live plants in preparations for photography, filming, and any live shows

Create visual concepts and graphic design material for marketing across sales channels

Plan, prepare and create the social media campaigns in line with the wider sales & marketing team objectives. Actively strive to increase engagement on all platforms

Adhere to brand guidelines within all aspects of marketing

Assist in proof reading of marketing, ensuring all information is accurately displayed - correct spelling, codes, prices, and imagery

Support with online housekeeping ensuring all communications to customers are accurate, up to date and in line with any seasonal range updates

Liaise with external resources for ad-hoc design requirements and communicating business objectives

Produce and distribute press release material in the appropriate format for selected products by the Brand Director, liaising with Online team to ensure consistent message and timing with all Social Media

Assist in the organisation of any photography and filming shoots

Learn to analyse and process historical sales information to utilise in future marketing plans

Contribute to discussion and suggest ideas to the wider team to improve marketing of products

Successfully and regularly communicate with the internal Stock Control team to ensure smooth business operations

Successfully and regularly communicate with the Customer Care team to ensure smooth business operations

Skills required

Confident user of Adobe Creative Suite
Experience in a marketing environment with understanding of marketing practices and commercial awareness
A creative thinker, selfmotivated with a keen eye for detail and willingness to learn
Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Plant knowledge an advantage but not essential
Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills with the ability to manage adhoc requests alongside own projects
Flexible and team player
