RCK Partners is a top 5 consultancy specialising in tax relief products and has taken the market by storm since our inception in January 2020.

We have ambitious growth plans to diversify our product offering over the next 3-4 years with the objective of doubling in size every year.

This role is being recruited for at an exciting stage of our growth plans.

One of our core products remains to be the R&D tax relief services; and the team works with businesses from almost every sector of the economy to identify their qualifying R&D activities, quantify the expenditure incurred and obtain the R&D Tax Incentives for them.

The R&D team is looking to expand with the appointment of a Trainee Consultant.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage and deliver a client portfolio
Desire to work in a fastpaced environment and comfortably able to deal with deadline pressures
Capability for high volume work whilst maintaining attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Develop financial knowledge and expertise to be capable of providing R&D tax specific advice to clients
Deliver technical reports and financial analysis with an exceptional degree of accuracy
Provide and develop expert client management skills
Work with the internal Commercial/Business Development team in order to both acquire new clients, and develop new industry areas to focus on
Work autonomously and independently
Share knowledge of previous technical areas and develop further technical curiosity
Mentor junior teammates and assist with training, where appropriate

Requirements:

Excellent written skills
Problem solving abilities
High level of attention to detail
Excellent MS Office skills (Word & Excel)
Ability to work autonomously with high productivity and accuracy
Excellent teamwork skills with a desire to coach and support junior teammates

Package:

Starting salary between £35k£65k DOE, plus annual bonus scheme
25 days' holiday, extending to 27 after 2 years' service plus an additional day per year of service
