Description

Residential Child Care Practitioners
Do you want to be part of something special?

Join us as we open our new Drummond Hall service, just north of the Village of Stanley,
25 mins from Perth by car.

Moore House Group offers residential support to
neurodiverse young people from all over the UK, in our Perth & Kinross services.

Working closely with Moore House Academy, Dunkeld and our Culbrae Service, no two days will be the same.

As a Practitioner, your days will be a
thrilling mix of outdoor escapades,
cake baking extravaganzas, and
cosy coffee outings, your days limited only by our young people's imagination.

While experience of working with children and young people with autism or complex learning needs would be desirable,
it is not essential.

We want
good people, with
drive and
passion to spend time with our young people and
share in their experiences.

The experience of building a new service and the introduction of young people requires
empathy and enthusiasm to allow young people to feel safe and supported in their new home.

The Practitioner post includes sleepovers and variable working patterns that can fit with all walks of life.
We believe in a fair work / life balance and feel this helps our team members thrive. Sleepovers and longer days can help reduce any commute and
support that work / life balance. Our Practitioners work a variety of shifts that includes days, evenings, weekends and
sleepovers.
Full-time, Part-time and Sessional working hours will be considered.

In the realm of Residential Childcare, where
challenges can be both physical and emotional, we put our s
taff's well-being first.

Our employees benefit from a
comprehensive induction, ongoing training at the
Moore House Training Academy, regular
reflective supervision, an
employee assistance programme, as well as many more staff benefits.

Moore House Group is a dynamic organisation offering a range of services to support the individual needs of children and young people as they move through their life journeys.

Our approach is firmly based on building positive, nurturing relationships using the principles of
Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy (PACE) and Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP).
