Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is an integral part of the Management Accounts team which has responsibility for accurate and timely reporting for Divisional Management and consolidated divisional reporting for the Group Finance team.

ManagementAccounts are also responsible for the development of robust financial controls and efficient financial processes as the division continues to grow.


Client Details
We are working with a very well established company based in Warrington who specialise within the distribution sector. They work through out the UK with their head office based in Warrington with warehouses located across England. Their finance team hasa transactional team plus a management accounting team where this role will sit. This is a really exciting opportunity to work within a team of management accountants, learn, grow and progress. The company will provide you through study support from AAT upto CIMA / ACCA.


Description

  • Maintain the capital register for the division
  • Sales and rebates analysis
  • Support commercial vehicle cost management processes
  • Support the preparation of divisional and site level monthly management accounts
  • Support the production of information for statutory reporting periods and audit
  • Support the preparation of VAT and Corporate tax submissions
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Ad hoc project work

Profile

  • Strong excel skills are required to extract and manipulate large volumes of data from multiple sources
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good problemsolving ability
  • Selforganised
  • Flexibility to respond to changing and emergent priorities
  • Ideally currently studying towards AAT or graduated with Maths / Finance degree

Job Offer
