Enara Bio is a science-led company leveraging its proprietary discovery platforms to deliver targeted cancer immunotherapies designed to treat a broad patient population.

Enara Bio is exploring the hidden depths of cancer and T-cell biology to discover and characterize novel, shared immunotherapy targets such as Dark Antigens and HLA-independent ligands.

We are pioneering approaches to exploit these targets with a TCR-directed T-cell immunotherapy product pipeline.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated, people oriented and organised individual to join our growing team.

You will be responsible for providing a great experience for all colleagues in our organisation, ensuring their records are up to date and supporting the Finance Team in keeping people-based finance processes such as expenses and invoices running efficiently.

As a member of the Operations Team, Enara colleagues will look to you for answers, and you will be a natural communicator with a passion for working with people - focusing on both the operations and culture at Enara.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work within all relevant GDPR guidelines to maintain employee and finance records.
  • Contribute to a vibrant working environment where improvements and new ideas are actively encouraged, focusing on the culture at Enara and integrating new team members.
  • Support new starters through their onboarding, setting up new starter meetings, trainings, answering questions and acting as a key point of contact.
  • Maintain and register new starters on our software and training platforms, ensuring that they have the correct learning plans assigned for their position.
  • Support in ideas generation and implementation of wellbeing initiatives for Enara colleagues.
  • Utilise our HR software to enhance automation and reduced administration wherever possible.
  • Provide adhoc support for employee lifecycle processes such as contractual change letters, changes to benefit provisions and leaver processes (working from established templates).
  • Act as a point of contact for our outsourced accounting team and linking with employees across the business regarding POs, invoices etc to resolve queries as necessary.
  • Review and validate expenditure requests and coding within our expenses software.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:


  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working within HR/Finance, preferably gained in a biotech or start up environment with moving priorities.
  • Effective communication skills with a proven ability to engage with a range of individuals.
  • IT literacy with a proven ability to work with HR/Finance software.
  • A team lead approach you will be energised by providing advice and support to colleagues, and in taking their feedback to suggest and implement process improvements.
  • Whilst a degree isn't a requirement for this role, we are looking for an individual who has a genuine interest in working in people operations and has focused either their studies or work experience in this space.
