Description

My client has been designing award winning medical devices for their clients for over 35 years.

They solve problems at any stage of the medical device development process for companies varying in size from large pharmaceutical companies to start ups.

They are on the hunt for a new Marketing manager to focus on external content whether that appears on the website, externally placed articles, external PR outlets, award entries and conferences.

You will collaborate with the company consultants, or independently,and create top-level content which builds the company's reputation by delivering industry supportive, useful articles.

You will also undertake a variety of tasks including;

Liaise with sector leads to ensure all content for events is planned well in advance for their sector areas.
Create SEO rich content to promote key business activities whether that is lead generation or recruitment support.
Manage award submissions and PR.
Take an editorial role for the business publications handbooks and Insight.
Produce detailed reports on the activities in the above areas and the impact they have achieved and present to different stakeholders in the business.

Additionally, leading on projects which cover the full marketing mix of activities including: liaising with the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive - Events to promote events; coordinating the creation of content (articles, blogs and PR).

To be considered for this role you will ideally have experience and solid background in the full marketing mix, including; events, copy writing and design; Capable of driving major marketing initiatives, including keeping projects on track and using feedbackfrom many stakeholders to inform direction; Experience in life sciences/medical/pharmaceutical or a related area; A flare for creating engaging content and an excellent proof reader.
