Description

Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs - Full Time 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. Temp to Perm, £ £75 per day.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team on a term time only basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with special needs and helping them reach their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with teachers and other members of the support staff to deliver tailored support to young people with a range of special educational needs.

You will be responsible for helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, and for assisting with the delivery of lessons and activities that are designed to meet the individual needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing onetoone support to children with special needs
Assisting with the delivery of lessons and activities
Supporting the young people with their needs
Encouraging children to participate in social and leisure activities
Helping to build their confidence and selfesteem
Keeping accurate records of children's progress and feeding this information back to teachers and other members of the support staff

Requirements:

Experience of working with young people with special needs
A strong commitment to inclusive education and a desire to help children reach their full potential
Good communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work as part of a team
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
