Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of activities for residents in a senior care facility
• Develop and implement engaging programs that cater to the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of residents
• Collaborate with staff and residents to identify interests and preferences for activities
• Arrange transportation and logistics for offsite outings and events
• Maintain activity calendars and ensure timely communication of upcoming events to residents and staff
• Provide supervision and support during activities to ensure the safety and enjoyment of participants
• Evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make adjustments as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes socialization and meaningful interactions among residents

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an activities Co-Ordinator
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational abilities with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with older adults
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of staff members
