We are a third generation family business supplying exceptional mouldings and joinery for our clients.
Job Summary:
Midland Mouldings are a third-generation family business specialising in bespoke timber mouldings and joinery. Our friendly, growing, strong team are excited to offer an administrative role based in our Brownhills office.
Duties:
- Preparing and editing documents using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Sites.
- Providing administrative support to other office employees: scanning, filing and printing documents and maintaining office/PPE/other supplies and purchases (ensuring they are sufficiently stocked and in working order).
- Talking to clients and suppliers on the telephone, answering and directing calls and taking messages where appropriate.
- Performing data entry tasks accurately and efficiantly using Excel and other company management systems.
- Working with our bookkeeping software (Xero).
- Health and Safety duties including COSHH assessments and Risk Assessment Support (full training will be provided on this).
- Front of house reception duties when (occasional) visitors arrive.
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
- have experience working as an office or administrative role for 3 years (preferred).
- have a friendly and approachable manner.
- be well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritze effectively.
- be punctual with a great attendance record.
- be proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft office suite.
- have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- have familiarity with office equipment.
- be able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Expected Hours:
Negotiable, between 10-20 hours a week (spread over 2 or 3 days)
To begin with, this would be a 3-month temporary role, with the potential to extend.
Salary:
dependant on the skill set and experience of the successful applicant
