DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the day to day operations meet and exceed the company's high operating standards
  • Help to organise and deliver enriching activities, sports and creative play for primary and secondary schoolaged children (514 years)
  • Help to manage and lead any activity assistants who may be working alongside you
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for the children at all times
  • Ensure all activities are delivered in line with OFSTED policies and procedures for childcare
  • Support and promote the welfare of young people
  • Complete administrative tasks related to the running of the holiday programme (for example accident report forms)

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:


  • A level 2 Sport or Level 3 Childcare Qualification
  • A valid safeguarding qualification and valid DBS
  • A knowledge of the OFSTED policies and procedures for childcare

Job title:
Holiday Camp Activity Leader


Work dates:
Monday 24th July - Friday 25th August (with a view to an extended seasonal contract covering the school holidays in 2023 and beyond if interested)


Contract:
Fixed term contract


Working hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm or 10am - 3pm


Locations:
Andover, Basingstoke, Bournemouth, Chichester, Eastleigh, Fareham, Havant, New Milton, Gosport, New Malden & Tolworth (only required within the area you have applied)


Salary:
£10.90 per hour, plus 12.5% annual leave entitlement on top (£12.28 per hour) - please note this salary is for someone meeting the criteria listed. If you do not meet the criteria, we are still able to consider you for similar roles but the salary will vary depending on age, qualifications and experience.

Licence/Certification:

  • DBS Certificate dated within the last 2 years (preferred)
  • Level 2 Sport or Childcare Qualification (preferred)
