After impressive year-on-year growth, I am recruiting for a Case Management Team leader to join a successful organisation who specialises in improving mental and physical health in the workplace.


Purpose of the role:


To effectively lead, develop and motivate a team of case managers to deliver case management through the interpretation of possible reasons for ill health/injury.

Ensuring the most appropriate intervention needed to reduce the risk of employee absence fromwork and the need for the employee to undertake modified duties.

Duties

  • To show clear ownership and accountability for the delivery of all team outcomes and client relationships.
  • Be the example to the team and ambassador of the company.
  • Be able to forecast and monitor core performance areas and client activity to support the running of the day to day operations.
  • Able to identify team development needs. Able to understand and demonstrate CSMART / GROW principles when setting objectives and coaching.
  • Able to identify customer journey/process improvement needs.
  • Ensure the team establish the current reason(s) for ill health/injury and identify any underlying cause or contributory risk factors in case management.
  • Ensure case managers are able to effectively communicate to the employee the multifactorial issues associated with the current episode of ill health/injury and how they can personally address the risk factors within their control.
  • Ensure the case managers work seamlessly with all other teams/services to demonstrate the integrated approach.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction via regular and timely communications with ALL stakeholders of all case management activities.

The person

  • Excellent team management/team leader skills.
  • Demonstrate confident telephone skills using effective listening and empathy with employees and stakeholders, covering both inbound and outbound calls.
  • A passion for helping people and providing excellent customer service.
  • Plan and control activities to meet objectives.
  • Enjoy working in a varied role managing multiple cases
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Adopt an investigatory approach to cases.
  • Ability to understand the impact of work on an individual and the impact of ill health on an individual's ability to work.
  • Ability effectively manage workload to meet to deadlines and service standards
  • Demonstrate analytical and problemsolving skills
  • An interest in health and wellbeing.
